Why Should You Purchase A Breathalyzer?
Think about this: you have a grand night out on the town with a bunch of your mates, drinking, laughing, and generally enjoying the night. You knock back pint after pint, and you're feeling great. Eventually, the night winds down to a close, and you find yourself about to go home. The best course of action would be to take a taxi or an Uber home, but what if you drove to the establishment, and you feel that you're sober enough to drive home? There's no way of actually being able to tell whether or not you're within Australia's legal limit of .05%, unless of course, you own a breathalyzer.
Did you know that drink driving is one of the foremost causes for road fatalities, and accounts for 30% of of fatal crashes in Australia? Knowing your limits is of the utmost importance when drinking- especially before you get behind the wheel. Utilizing breathalyzers as a tool, one would be able to ascertain what their "safe number" is- everyone has a different body type, different alcohol tolerance levels, and different actions when one is inebriated. Everybody is different, and why wait for the police to tell you what your BAC level is? It may be too late- one must proactively take precautionary measures while drinking- especially if they're going to be behind the wheel of a vehicle.
We never recommend getting behind the wheel if you've had a little too much to drink, but if you feel as if you're good to go, always check your BAC levels before you take off. Just remember that personal breathalyzers are a guide, not a guarantee- the only breathalyzer that counts when you're pulled over by the police is theirs, regardless if it's accurate or not. Do it for yourself, do it for your family, and do it for others around you.
